Video game publishers Deep Silver have announced that Persona 5, the latest installment in the popular role-playing game series Persona will be released in the UK and wider Europe on valentines day the 14th February the same day as North America on both the PS3 and PS4. This, as European fans will widely appreciate, means there is no time delay between the North American and European release as was previously the case.
For those new to the series, Atlus describe it as follows:
“Persona is an RPG series set in cities and high schools in modern day Japan. It focuses on the growth of adolescents who, upon the awakening of their “Persona” abilities, overcome various trials together.
The heart of the Persona series is the clashing of ordinary events such as school life, friendship, and love, with the extraordinary such as urban legends, strange rumors, bizarre occurrences, and glimpses of the dark side of society.”
The game will receive a digital and physical release and both SteelBook and Premium Editions will be available for the PS4 release of the game. It will feature animation sequences from the animation studio Production I.G. Persona 5 will first be released in Japan on the 15th September.
