This September will see a Hello Kitty pop-up café take over Tombo’s recently opened Fitzrovia venue, taking its love of all things Japanese to another level. The pop up follows on from last years Hello Kitty café at Cutter and Squidge.
Born in 1974, Hello Kitty has become a global phenomenon with a range of merchandise and cafes around the globe. London café group Tombo will launch the pop up and feature a range of items on its menu including a Hello Kitty poké bowl, cupcakes, ice cream sundaes and a range of desserts. A selection of teas will also feature and include ceremonial grade matcha tins and a Kukicha green tea infused with yuzu. Along with edible items, Hello Kitty merchandise will also be on offer such as Hello Kitty tote bags, posters and postcards.
Although Tombo’s Fitzrovia restaurant will be taken over, its other London sites in South Kensington and Soho will offer a range of merchandise and a small selection of the limited edition menu items during the lifespan of the pop up.
The pop-up store will run from 1st September to 8th October. For more, visit the Tombo site here
