KLab (Love Live! School Idol Festival) have just announced that their hugely popular mobile title Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team will be released globally in 135 countries from December 2017 on iOS and Android devices.

The football simulation game will be localised in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Traditional Chinese. It was initially released in Japan in June 2017 and is based on the massively popular long running Captain Tsubasa manga and anime title.

Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team Overview

“Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team is a head-to-head football simulation game based on the classic football manga series enjoyed the world over, Captain Tsubasa. Players are given the opportunity to train football legends Tsubasa, Misaki, Hyuga and all the fan favorites from the series to build their own dream team. Players then hit the pitch with their custom teams to battle it out for football supremacy against the A.I., or go head-to-head with friends or other players from around the world in online matches.”

Interested players are encouraged to pre-register via KLab’s official Twitter and Facebook pages for updates on the title. Players who pre-register will receive the SSR Tsubasa Ozora The Ball is My Best Friend as a free gift. In addition to this SSR character gift, players will also receive 25 Dreamballs (in-game currency). Both gifts will be awarded to players when the game is released.

Further to this, Twitter followers have a chance to win one of ten Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team shirts, or one of six original illustrations signed by series creator Yoichi Takahashi.
